Dating

Dated Tibetan notes give the number of the solar year which has elapsed since the legendary founding of the government in 255 AD (Year 1)..
Thus, Tibetan years are converted to AD by adding 254.
On dated notes, the years can be found in the 2nd line on upper front (Not dated notes do not have a 2nd line on top).
